A Winner in my Eyes

I made this entry for a LIA open brief.

This idea made me kinda nervous. This was my attempt at a non-feminist feminist idea without being insincere.

My gut was telling me that it wouldn’t win (and it didn’t) but I still liked the idea so I went with it anyways.

I made this entry for a LIA young creatives open brief competition. The brief was about how to ensure the realistic and unbiased representation of women in advertising materials. I didn't win but I still like my own approach: a non-feminist approach at feminism.

THE BRIEF

Empower women to be fairly and equally represented in advertising.

THE INSIGHT

I am a guy. I didn’t want to pretend to understand the feminist plight. So I made my argument extremely logical.

IF men:women :: 50:50 (in real life) THEN men:women :: 50:50 (in ads)
